                I am Stanimir Tsvetkov, a student from Leyton Sixth Form College and a former student of the Geo Milev ELMS (English Language Middle School) . I will be writing in relation to student life and I think I am suited because I myself am going through it.                 Being used to a system, way different from what I am in now, I would say that I feel as if I am in the right place. That is mainly due to the fact that communism is still present in some way in my previous country, Bulgaria. For instance we are obliged to stand up and greet in one voice the incoming teacher in the room, otherwise we are punished. The teacher also stands on a platform, when he presents material, which I think implies, that he is superior in some way. Additionally having 14 different subjects is too much of a burden to bare, which results in information overload and you end...

Q1: The endings of sentences such as '' said Mr McCann tearfully.'', '' she can no longer bear to use her camera.'', etc. and a lot of quotations from the victims in the first article are used to make us feel sympathetic towards the family. You can argue that is due to the fact that the family of Madeleine McCann is  from the upper middle class. That may also be because of the fact that they would get a child psychologist or even the fact that the MCcanns had private conversations with the British Chancellor.   On the other hand we have the article about the kidnapping of Shannon Matthews, which is way more like a reportage and summary of the events that had happened,'' Shannon failed to return from school after her swimming lesson on Feb 19 '', '' Shannon failed to return from school after her a swimming lesson on February 19  '',etc. ,there's no emotive language put into it.
